Paper snowflakes

Snowflakes, beautiful snowfalkes.  Snowflakes form in a variety of different shapes. We will make some paper snowflakes here. You can stick them together and make them into a garland or stick them  on your windowpanes.
Making these snowflakes are as easy as ABC as they use alphabets to make them.
This is the basic step that we will need to make all our snowflakes.
Please note that I have used printer paper, that mostly all of us have.

Lets start.
Take the printer paper and fold it to form triangle. Trim extra paper.
Mark 3.2 inches from one end and make a fold from another.
Make a second fold. Again trim extra paper so that we now have a triangle.

Lets learn how to cut M or 3. We cut one tip of M like a V and then another end of M like another V. Do the same with W or 3. We break these shapes into two parts.

Yoo Hoo! We are ready to make our super duper easy, kids friendly snowflakes. Every one will be so impressed that you could make it make it all by yourself. Don't tell them it was as easy as ABC ;-).

Another simple Christmas Tree

What do you call a girl with a Christmas Tree on her head?
Carol

The decorated Christmas tree can be traced back to the ancient Romans who during their winter festival, decorated trees with small pieces of metal during Saturnalia, a winter festival in honor of Saturnus, the god of agriculture. An evergreen, the "Paradise tree", was decorated with apples as a symbol of the feast of Adam and Eve held on December 24th during the middle ages.

Lets draw another very simple christmas tree.

  • Start by writing upside down V.
  • Write two 7 on each free end of V, notice that we have turned around one 7.
  • Repat this till your Christmas tree is as tall as you want.
  • Now join free ends of  7 with bent I.
  • Write 11 for the stalk. Join tips with I.
  • Color and decorate.
What did the Christmas tree say to the ornament?
"Aren't you tired of hanging around?"

I have found a beautiful blog that teaches to make Christmas Cards. Check this out.

A very simple Christmas Tree

What do you get if you cross an apple with a Christmas tree?
A pineapple!

The Christmas tree is a decorated evergreen coniferous tree ,real or artificial traditionally brought into the home and decorated with Christmas Lights and ornaments.

We will make a very basic Christmas tree. I have not decorated it yet because my ornaments are not yet ready.

  • Write an upside down V.
  • Join tips of V with I.
  • Write 11 , and then join it with another I.
Christmas tree is ready. All we have to do now is decorate it.

Why are Christmas trees like bad knitters?
They both drop needles!

I found a wonderful blog for making Christmas Cards. Check this out.
